(This little vid is, first and foremost, a Happy New Year to the folks featured in it, and those who knew/know them. If you’re not in that group, don’t watch. UNLESS you happen to be wondering what barely normal college kids did/wore/listened to back in the early ’90s. And you think the answer might be funny. If that’s the case, please enjoy your ass off.)
HAPPY NEW YEAR to my dear old confrères from the Emerson College comedy scene—particularly those members of THIS IS PATHETIC, one of the three performing comedy troupes on campus at the time. (Careful viewers will recognize The Colbert Report’s Eric “Bobby” Drysdale—not, himself, a Pathetic…but nonetheless a bright star in that firmament—putting events in perspective.)
Were we ever so young? Some of us were. And my message for them/us is: go fuck your/ourselves, whelps, for being young and having so very much fun.
